About Us
The Soul of the Drive
Born in the Blue Ridge
Flat 6 Adventures wasn’t founded in a boardroom; it was born on the apexes of the Appalachian Mountains. We began with a simple observation: the world’s best driving roads deserve more than just a casual cruise. They deserve a curated experience that honors the engineering of the cars we drive and the community of the people behind the wheel.
Our Philosophy: Precision and Presence
We believe a great drive is a sensory symphony—the mechanical hum of a flat-six engine, the scent of the forest after a morning rain, and the perfect line through a technical mountain pass.
We specialize in small-group, high-touch rallies that prioritize three things:
The Route: We don't just use GPS; we scout every mile to find the most technical, scenic, and "undiscovered" tarmac in the Southeast.
The Experience: From boutique lodging to curated dining, the time spent off the road is just as refined as the time spent on it.
The Pace: We advocate for "spirited yet safe" driving. Our rallies are about the joy of the curve, not the ego of the speedometer.
More Than a Rally
At its heart, Flat 6 Adventures is about the people. We are a collective of enthusiasts who value authenticity and adrenaline in equal measure. Whether we are navigating the Blue Ridge Parkway or organizing relief efforts for our local mountain communities, we drive with purpose.
The mountains are calling. It’s time you answered.

Julie "Master Navigator" Madsen
OWNER
While Lennie and Dan are busy chasing apexes and negotiating with physics, Julie is the one ensuring the wheels actually stay on the road—literally and figuratively. Known as the Master Navigator, she possesses a GPS for a brain and a tactical mind for logistics developed from living in five states and seven different PCA regions.
As "Vader’s Mommy"—her formidable 997.2 C2S—Julie is the organizational force behind Flat 6 Adventures. She is admittedly not a social butterfly by nature, but there is one major exception: Porsche people. Hand her a set of keys and put her in a room full of enthusiasts, and she is right at home.
In her role as the team’s "Scout Mom," she does far more than just herd cats; she is the guardian of the group’s random needs. Whether it's providing Advil or Band-Aids at a lunch break or actually having paracord and scissors at the ready to tie a Ferrari’s broken door shut, Julie ensures the adventure never stops.

Lennie "Mountain Maestro" Holland
OWNER
Lennie Holland: Porsche zealot and mountain-driving wizard, born with a steering wheel in one hand and a map to the nearest switchback in the other. As a touring guide, he shepherds gearheads and thrill-chasers through heart-pounding mountain passes, dishing out quips about torque and traction with a smirk. When he’s not coaxing his beloved 911 to purr like a caffeinated panther, Lennie’s either debating the superiority of rear-wheel steering or apologizing to Julie for another essential 911 purchase. Catch him on a hairpin turn, cackling like a madman, because to Lennie, life’s just a series of corners begging to be conquered.

Dan "The Apex Whisperer" Brown
OWNER
Dan “The Apex Whisperer” Brown. Born in the back seat of a Porsche 356 Speedster, Dan’s first words were “off-camber.” He was once so quick through the Alps that Switzerland and Italy asked (read: banned) him never to return to the alpine passes just to preserve the mountains. His driving was so legendary, the German Autobahn straightened itself out in fear. When not bending physics, Dan enjoys long walks on short racetracks and confusing GPS systems worldwide.
Quote: "I don't defy the laws of physics, I just negotiate better terms with grip."
